It’s nice to pull up in front of your room to unload. The playground combined with picnic area is a comfortable spot to unwind and watch the kids play.
A seat outside your door offers a perch to relax and take in the panoramic 360 degree views of the beautiful Canadian Rockies. When you need a little rejuvenation take everyone for a warm and relaxing soak in our hot tub and sauna.

Our variety of room types and affordable pricing are what businesses are looking for. All of our rooms have a microwave and mini fridge while most have fully equipped kitchens.
Our front desk staff is quick to offer assistance with copying, faxing and computer usage. They often provide directions and recommendations to our clients for a preferred dining experience.

Mountain Adventures have been at the forefront of our business since the beginning. Our owner Hans Peter Stettler, originally from Switzerland, is a true mountain man, a certified mountain guide who is passionate about these mountains as is the staff.
Exploring the mountain parks is essential to our lodge. Hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, snowshoeing, rafting, dog sledding and more is here for the taking. We understand these mountains and are able to give sound and reliable information about the mountain parks and send adventurers in the right direction. For rental gear, a map or recommendation for an inspiring adventure – we keep visitors well informed.
There is a real culture of mountaineers returning regularly who treat the lodge as their base camp.
Ski Teams / Sport Groups
Ski coaches, training teams and athletes of every calibre make the Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge their home when in Canmore.
Our ski wax rooms and bike storage rooms, large parking area and open spaces are ideal for competing athletes.
Training athletes who are away from home for awhile find the comfort of our fully equipped Loft Apartments and our hot tub and sauna room – conducive to focusing on long distance learning and training.
The Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge is a proud to sponsor a number of sporting events in Canmore and to house the many fine athletes who come through our doors each season.
Seniors
After 30 years in business, we have a few senior friends who holiday annually in Canmore at the Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge. Anytime is senior time – assuming you are retired.
Our rates are reasonable year-round and the best deals are in spring and fall when the crowds disburse and great seasonal rates prevail.
Our One Bedroom Apartments or our Standard Rooms with Kitchen are favourites amongst seniors. Clean, comfortable, quiet and secure – best describes the Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge. Our staff enjoy taking the time to suggest hikes and walks as well as dining and shopping opportunities.

We understand and offer a selection of pet friendly rooms for an additional minimal daily fee. Standard Rooms with one queen size bed and Standard Rooms with one queen or two double beds with kitchen.
Open spaces and walking trails nearby make vacationing with your pet painless. Canmore also boasts 2 off-leash areas and 4 pet stores. Arff! Arff!
