Canmore has grown in recent years to a town with a permanent population of about 12,000 folks (17,500 including it’s non-permanent population) with a strong sense of community, boasting numerous annual cultural and sporting events.
Canmore is an ideal stepping stone to all your wilderness adventures. There is no shortage of options. Hiking trails branch out in all directions from the town and lead to areas of pristine wilderness where wildlife, flora and fauna, and the high alpine of the Canadian Rockies are abundant.
